K-beauty shopping: compare the basket, not the discount sign

Choose a shop near the places already saved for your day. Write the exact product, size and quantity you need; compare that same formulation and volume across offers. Keep a photo of the label for repurchasing, not just the shelf display.

A screen-inspired look can guide the color or finish you want, but we do not certify that a brand was used by an actor or will suit your skin.

Leave the bundle if you only need one item, cannot use the extras or cannot carry it home. Do not add a cross-city taxi trip to chase a small saving. For unfamiliar products, avoid buying multiple full-size units on the strength of a discount; ask staff about ingredients and choose only what you can evaluate.

Before paying, decide which purchases go in checked luggage and whether that allowance is already included in your flight. Keep refund goods unopened with receipts and refund documents. At the hotel, separate cabin liquids from checked goods and keep items requiring customs inspection accessible.

K-SPOT example, not a current promotion: the same formula costs KRW 18,000 for 50 ml or KRW 30,000 for two 50 ml units. The bundle reduces the unit cost to KRW 15,000 but spends KRW 12,000 more today. Choose it only if you need both and can pack them.

Add actual card/exchange, transport and extra-baggage costs; treat tax refund as zero until eligibility and processing are confirmed.

Use a nearby indoor shop to replace an exposed stop if needed, keeping the same purchase list and spending limit. Recheck the store’s hours and your return route with shopping bags. Rain is not a reason to add another shopping district, and a flagship is not automatically cheaper than an ordinary branch.

Incheon’s international cabin rule is containers of 100 ml or less, fitting in one transparent resealable 1 L bag per person. Capacity of the container matters: a half-empty 150 ml bottle is not a compliant 100 ml container. For that bottle, arrange permitted checked carriage with your airline, buy a smaller size, or leave it.

City-store purchases do not automatically get airport duty-free packaging exceptions. For a tax refund, keep purchased goods unopened and unused; using them during the trip can remove eligibility. Destination and transfer rules also apply.
